Bulbul Cleanup modes & per-app style
After Whisper transcribes your speech, Bulbul can run a fast cleanup pass. The raw transcript stays private to your Groq request; Bulbul then follows the mode you choose.
Raw, Clean, and Polished
| Mode | What it does |

| Raw | Keeps your words and fixes only obvious transcription errors. |
| Clean | Removes filler words, improves punctuation, and keeps your voice. This is the default. |
| Polished | Rewrites for clarity and structure. Use it when the text should read like finished writing. |
Polish hotkey
Your dedicated Polish hotkey always uses Polished mode. It is a quick way to choose a more refined result for one dictation without changing the global cleanup preference.
Per-app style and venue awareness
Bulbul recognizes the type of app you are dictating into and can adapt its tone: concise in chat, more formal in mail and documents, and practical in code contexts. Set a style for each app category—Formal, Casual, or Very Casual.
Spoken lists
When you enumerate items aloud, Bulbul can turn them into a clean bullet list. Speak the content naturally; it detects the structure during cleanup.
